HOT! HOT! HOT! Long Island Advance Artist Op

The Long Island Advance has put out a call for a visual artist including photographers to submit a entry for the front of 15,000 Patchogue Chamber Directory.

The Chamber Directory entry needs to be able to fill a 4-3/4" x 7-3/4" and they would like a entry to have a Patchogue Theme.

Entry should be submitted ASAP or by May 10 by email.

Calling all artists!

No matter what your favorite bloom or medium, flowers have always been a favorite inspiration for artists. Show your work in our upcoming exhibit The Art of Flowers at the Gallery on the Hill. Drop off is May 18, with a reception on May 31. For more information, call 631-451-9070.

Your friendly blogger has been suffering from bronchitis for over a month, and it has hindered her ability to get out and see some of the wonderful shows hosted by the BAHC. Renowned storyteller and children's book author Heather Forest will be performing at the Mount Sinai Heritage Center on May 17 at 11:30 AM and at 1PM as part of Family Fun Day! Come on down for this FREE event...with food, fun, and games for all!
