Spring has sprung!

Who'd a thunk it? A few weeks ago, we were shoveling out from under over a foot of snow, and now the hosta and tulips are pushing through...a sure sign that spring is on the way!! With the nice weather comes the urge to get out and do something-"come on out and play", if you will. There are great events going on all around...don't miss them!

Don't forget this week's The Art of Black and White at the Gallery at Bald Hill--Thursday, April 9!

The South Bay Art Association--July 22, 7 PM, Bellport Community Center. Award winning artist Lian Quan Zhen's exquisite watercolors borrow the best artistic elements from two different worlds-the traditional painting techniques of the East and the watercolor techniques of the West. Lian is a world famous artist and has published several books and watercolor DVD's. Visit his website at www.lianspaintings.com (We will ask for a donation at the door, to offset the fee.)

Patchogue Arts Council--"In Passing" by local artist Robert Mielenhausen is currently showing at the Patchogue Theatre Lobby Gallery and we'd like to invite you to join us for the FREE artist reception on Wednesday, April 15 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Also, please join us for our next general member meeting on April 11 at 10AM at Patchogue Village Hall. Members of the board will be there to discuss upcoming PAC events and to answer any questions. There will also be time for introduction of yourself and fellow PAC members. Hope to see you then!
