Sad news

Artist Leni Friedland passed away Thursday August 13, 2009. There will be a grave side service Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Beth Moses Cemetery, Wellwood Ave, Pinelawn, NY (631-249-2290). You can get directions to the cemetery online at http://erosenbaum.netfirms.com/jewish_cemeteries/JewishCemeteriesBethMoses.htm After the service, attendees are invited back to the family home located at 52 Plymouth Avenue, Mt. Sinai, NY 11766. There will be a Shiva at the family home on Monday and Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. The family has requested no phone calls and no flowers, however food (fruit and baked goods) is welcome. An art scholarship will be established in honor of Leni at the Mount Sinai High School. More information regarding this will be forthcoming.
